Tarot of the Week: Two of Cups

Posted in Tarot Card of the Week on September 23, 2009 by theybewe

Oh Libra’s how appropriate!  Love is in the air my friends.  Two of cups indicates a bond or partnership forming, healing, self love, and all around happiness.  Enjoy those one on one connections you have been forming and appreciate friendships that are coming into your life.  It is a wonderful time to seek out the people that have brought you happiness and thank them.  Have a picnic, take a walk, bask in the sunshine, and remember the universe loves you.

I don’t care if Monday’s blue
Tuesday’s grey and Wednesday too
Thursday I don’t care about you
It’s Friday, I’m in love

Tarot of the Week: Four of Swords

Posted in Tarot Card of the Week on September 15, 2009 by theybewe

Four of Swords (Truce): Stay calm little darlings.  Our Virgo sun tells us to work, push harder, don’t stop; while the moon trining Uranus tells us to dream, retreat , dream!  Now is the time for tranquility and focusing on the intellectual restoration in the midst of your struggles.  Temporarily retreat from stress with a nice long walk, a cup of blooming tea or apple cider or an outing with a good friend.  Now is a great time to reorganize your home or sacred space.  This is also a call for you to get out of the material world for a while and spend a little time finding spiritual guidance.  Help is there when you need it.  All you need to do is ask.

Tarot of the Week: Page of Swords

Posted in Tarot Card of the Week on September 6, 2009 by theybewe

So you’ve found yourself in a bit of a predicament.  Do not act hasty, think things through.  Your words maybe be sharper than you think.  The best way to handle these kinds of situations is by taking a day to regroup, clear your mind, and get yourself together.  It’s not the end of the world.  The best way to solve a problem is by getting to the root of it.  Have you been honest with yourself? have you and the other party involved been honest with each other?  Speak clearly but always remember to think before you speak.

Is it kind?

Is it necessary?

If you keep these two things in mind you will be okay.  Remember, the world is constantly moving and it’s only temporary.  You’ll get through this.

Six of Pentacles: Give

from the Victorian Romantic tarot

It’s a turn for the better financially, spiritually, in love, and physically.  Abundance comes, but do not hoard that abundance.  It’s all about generosity these days.  Share what you have as there is always someone who needs it whether it be lending an ear, giving to the needy, or offering a bit of advice.  And if you are the intended recipient, don’t be too proud to accept what is offered.

With the new moon in Leo our passions and creative ambitions are at an all-time high.  Take hold of that energy and meet your destiny!  The new moon pushes us into pursuing what our heart desires.  Don’t be afraid of working towards your dreams, this is your “life’s work”.   Now do it.

Before the sun begins to rise
I know that I, I must give
So that I, I can live”

The Tower: These Stones will Shout

Archetype/Tarot Card of the Week: The Tower.

Isolation in our ego’s self-created delusions of separateness, superiority, invincibility, or sheer death-defying vanity is like asking to be struck down by lightening.

“We think our isolation is one of choice, but really we are just allowing our insecurity and over-sensitivity to box us in. In our hands, even devices invented to enhance connectivity-like mobile phones and the Internet are only allowing us to insulate and isolate ourselves more than ever before. The result is a generation utterly unable to face the smallest of difficulties with mental equanimity. When conflict does occur, we either sink into depression or fly into a rage. In our isolated world, there is no one to keep our ego and our selfishness in check. We become completely self-oriented, unable to consider the feelings and views of others.”–Swami Ramakrishnanada Puri

All I see turns to brown, as the sun burns the ground
And my eyes fill with sand, as I scan this wasted land
Trying to find, trying to find where I’ve been.”-Kashmir/Led Zeppelin

Constellation brainstorming session

Ever wonder what a Constellation meeting consists of?  Well, we’ll tell you.

1 part lemon water

2 parts tarot

intermittent sips of astrologically-inspired Chianti

a whole lot of notes

constellation office

Katelan and Sherene brainstorm in the Constellation office. (note: Sherene apologies for total lack of glamour–but the eclipse was squaring her entire horoscope and then some.)

With the full moon in Aquarius and the eclipse we just had to draw a card of the week.  What did Sherene draw?

For all our Leo’s out there and even to those who are not, soak in some of that Leo self-esteem and leadership skills!

Sun Card:

After a long period of darkness the light finally breaks through.  Perfect timing for that pesky eclipse on Wednesday. A positive card, it promises those questioning that their day will come.  Those projects you’ve been slaving over, that promotion you’ve been wanting, it’s coming darlings!  It’s coming! This card denotes pleasure through successful enterprises.   This is an incredible time to be aware of one’s surroundings and take advantage of them.  You never know what you will find or who you will meet.  You may even get a fabulous new idea.  Let the universe provide for you, let go of those negative dark times and open up to the wonders around you.  Now is a great time to start studying that language you wanted to learn, embark on that novel you wanted to write, or make a fabulous piece of music or art.  You head is clear and you’ve got it going on.  Roll with it baby.
